KAW Ministry, LLC was created in honor of Bettie Owens’ daughter, Kanika A. Wilson, who was unfortunately left in a comatose state due to a medical malpractice procedure. Twenty years have passed and Bettie has discovered that through her daughter’s misfortune, she was born with a purpose to encourage others. Bettie has written a book entitled, Oh God, Why My Only Child? (See information on contact page). She has also taken on the role of speaker and encourager for parents, who have gone through similar circumstances. She encourages others to keep the faith and assists in helping others find Christ in the midst of their turmoil, confusion, and hopelessness. KAW Ministry (created from her daughter’s name, Kanika A. Wilson) was founded to provide a place of comfort for parents, who need assistance in walking through their disheartening circumstances.
